| The NUTN 104th students of the Department of Drama Creation and Application (DDCA) held 4 sessions Oral History Drama- Recollecting Lovely Hometown, conducted by Director of DDCA Wang Wan-Jung at 7:30 PM on Friday, January 4; 2:30 PM and 7:30 PM on Saturday, January 5 and 2:30 PM on Monday, January 6 in the NUTN Rongyu campus (D203 Theater Classroom). The Recollecting Lovely Hometown was composed of 4 short dramas, including Leaving & Missing Hometown, If the Train Leaves, Look and S, He. The 1st short drama was Leaving & Missing hometown, described the actor thirst for independence, moving away from hometown. After he left his hometown, he started missing his hometown and family. He re-thought the relationship between him and his father. The 2nd short drama was If the Train Leaves, presented your hometown was full of love and memory to wait for you to come back. The 3rd short drama was Look, it meant in the process of children’s growing up, families always gave positive encouragement to support them to pursue their dreams. When children look at these efforts their families give, they would feel gratitude and warm. Furthermore, the last short drama was S,He, these two actors in this drama showed the family culture differences between South and North of Taiwan. The DDCA used these four short dramas, old photos and music to bring all participants back those good times they had in their hometown. All and sundry were cordially invited by the DDCA to participate in this Oral History Drama. |
